My project is coming along nicely, but one problem I'm facing is the fact that the right front fender was completely smashed in. My dad pulled it out and spliced a whole bunch of chopped wires together, and now the engine runs. However, most of the vacuum lines were torn off and busted in the wreck. When it runs, you have to rev it to keep it running, and it's very tricky. I could hear the hissing sound as I drove it, so I'm almost 100% positive it's the lines, but I can't find a good diagram. The one on the sticker by the radiator tells me where the lines are supposed to be, but it doesn't really give me anything for reference, so I still can't figure them out.

Does anyone have a good diagram?

Check the vacuum "Ball"

You may want to check the vacuum "ball", a Black round plastic piece, the size a little bigger than a softball. It is usually located under the air box, below the metal "shelf" on the passenger front side of engine compartment. Maybe a vacuum line may have come unattached when the front fender got bent or the ball was damaged? Also check this link: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=192337
