OK, I read the post regarding the "vacuum modulator replacement" after it was suggested that my X was experiencing those issues since there was ATF coming up through a vacuum hose. I have one question though, forgive me if this sounds stupid, does this apply to Automatic trannies as well or just stick shift?

I ask because my local parts supplier gave me these results after a search for "modulator"

- FRAM "FM2336" [Transmission Modulator] $12.25

- ATP "FX-226" [Vacuum Modulator] w/SAD Type (Single Area Diaphragm/1 Diaphragm); A4LD 4 Spd Trans $14.37

Are any of these the part I need?

Thanks in advance guys

I have an automatic, sorry, guess I should have specified which one I have.

So I guess I need the first one?
