Vacuum port question

2005 SOHC 4.0 v6.

I just replaced the valve cover gaskets which required removing the intake manifold.

I had to stop in the middle of the job. When I reassembled this port did not have a hose anymore.

I capped it the engine is running well, can anyone tell me where is this supposed to connect?

PCV valve connection I think it seems to be turned 180 degrees from the direction it should be pointing. Hose runs behind the intake against the firewall toward drivers side.

Back of the driver side valve cover against the firewall. Again, I "think" this is correct. Let me know.

Found it- runs to an EGR valve mounted on the driver side inner fender well.
