those are for a 1965-1973 289/302/351, so I doubt that they will.

It says that for all the valve covers on the site, but I've seen them on newer mustangs also. They reason it says the certain years is because it's a year specific catalog

The bolt pattern looks the same.

anything for EFI mustang will bolt on. dont know if they will clear everything..... may take some "adjusting"... but they will bolt on.

Make sure the height is ok. They need to be high enough to clear your vavetrain, and low enough to fit under the intake and TB.

the mustang style covers will clear the rockers just fine. i just dont know about the intake or throttle body clearance. if you got some and the intake elbow or Tbody hit it, then you could allways just get a 3/8 phenolic intake spacer.

Why is it apart!? :D

if you get some and they dont fit, then get one of these and it will work.

No E cam if that's what you are thinking.;) But I wish I would have gotten all the parts since I'm already half way there.

I wanted to tighten the lower intake, clean the injectors and all that good stuff while I was doing the headers.

Ted, if you get the covers, and end up needing the intake spacer, let me know. I have 2 in the garage - one is and inch and the other is a half inch (I think). You can have one if you need it...

Thanks, Cobra but I couldn't find covers that i liked or that fit. I might get the stock ones chromed, I don't know yet.

That's cool. The covers I like are not made for the EFI, so I haven't decided what I am going to do either. I will probably have mine ceramic coated the same time I have my headers done.

Summit has some nice Ford valve cover made for EFI's. They even have the filler neck in the same spot as the explorer.
