I did search on this and found one thread related but I don't think it'll fix my problem. I just replaced my transmission with a new trans. Everything runs well as far as that is concerned but now I have this annoying low, no noise, vibration in I beleive the front end, in fact I beleive it to be from the front driveshaft but am not sure. When I took out the drive shafts I replaced all u joints. I accidentally took the front driveshaft.................incorrectly maybe is the word. The front driveshaft came out with the casing around the knuckle and ring/balls assembly staying on the transfer case which apparently isn't the way it's supposed to come apart. Not knowing this at the time I cleaned all the grease off the knuckle and off the ring and all the balls, nice and shiney, inspected for damage and saw none HURRAY! Time came to put it all back together, the error in my disassembly was pointed out, I took the casing off, worked for a while to get it all back together, ended up knocking the cover off the transfer case side of the casing. Worked on it more and eventually got it together with everything moving easily and fluidly. I thought I had it all set, everything moved easy but the casing wouldn't rotate, all balls in place, I packed it full of grease. I pressed and packed grease into the knuckle, ball, casing assembly as much as I could with my hands, then I took the cover from the transfer case side of the casing and packed it full of grease till it was full and overflowing, I then put it back on the casing, assembled it, everything seemed good. I put so much grease in the assemble it was squirting out the bolts holes as I put the bolts in so needless to say this was PACKED. Finished the install and I've been driving it for almost a week now.

Now I have tried while on the highway with the shake going into neutral and it's still there, turning doesn't make a difference. It get's slightly worse and worse the faster you go. I went into 4x4 and it started making another vibration. When I did all this I also replaced all fluids in trans and xfer case with synth fluids despite mixed results, I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not. Sorry for the long post. Anyone have any ideas?
