In my 94 xlt when getting up to speed there is a vibration and once you are at cruising speed the vibration goes away and comes back and then goes away on and on and on and when pullin a hill the vibration goes away i have checked the drivelines and replaced the ujoints and made sure everything seems tight the vibration seems to be up front it is in the steering wheel and dash that vibrate the most and ideas are greatly appricated
When you go around a long sweeping corner, does it go away, then come back? that would indicate some part after the diff. (ie from the axels out)
Bent wheels, tire balance, warped rotors, wheel bearings, ball joints etc.
Or you could ahve the dreaded " '94 shakes ". Many here have spent a lot of $$$, including me and still have it. The only things I haven't replaced are axels, spindles and ball joints.
Good luck and try the search feature, you will see how prevelent 'the shakes' are.
