Replaced the pinion bearing, that's good, the front driveshaft is good, the transfer case was replaced with a good one to avoid a possible VC failure.
When I run on the highway above 60mph, then let off the gas, I get a vibrating hum for about 10 mph of decel. No hum any other time, and only when slowing from like 75-65 when getting off the highway.
I am also getting some noise/grind when driving normally which I thought replacing the pinion bearing would fix. I filled the front axle with Lucas 80W-90 HD gear oil a week ago when we did the pinion bearing.
U-Joints? Rear driveshaft? Pinion bearing have the wrong preload? Something screwy with the transfercase? It seems like it's under my feet.
Thoughts?
