Recently, I noticed a vibration whenever I was turning and accelerating. It DOES NOT occur all the time every time, and the vibration isn't consistent in the harshness either.

I also noticed the vibration would carry into straight line acceleration as well, and would fade somewhere past 30 or 35 MPH.

I do have the Auto 4x4 for reference.

Just by doing my usual searches, I was thinking maybe the dealer I purchased it from didn't add the friction modifier to the rear end, and the clutches may just be slipping, but I wanted some more opinions before I come to any conclusions.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I experienced slight vibration on minor turns of steering wheel at highway speeds. That turned out to be a front hub bearing.

I bought an 04 XLT yesterday... after test driving it there was a little vibration but I wrote that off as more agressive tires because you could hear them humming down the road. As I was driving it home, I felt a slight shudder or a rubbing feeling while making low speed turns. It felt like it was in the back end... as with your problem Dimach, it isn't all the time. Driving straight, harder accelerations there is nothing....

My vibration doesn't appear in the slightest at highway speeds. Vibration doesn't occur at any point over 35 MPH.

It really ONLY happens when you are turning, even if you stop accelerating the vibration will still occur. Tires don't rub either.

I think I will change the diff fluid and add the friction modifier tonight and see if it helps at all.

This problem was solved on my wife's Explorer by adding the friction modifier. Been so long since it was fixed that forgot what it was like. Ours has towing package and class III hitch, so assume that it has a limited slip rear.
