any one have a vibration off idle after a 50 mile run ? I feel it in the floor seat area after the 1 / 2 shifts. Than I accelerate hard and it comes on when I am straight or turning. I have had 3 Ford shops look at it and I'm getting pissed off. This is my first new ford and I have had an wheel alignment done an they say that it's all in specs. I was told that it's an 3.5 engine problem from one of the techs at ford , he said that it has been in the service pages, but no fix as of yet. Well they might get introduced to the lemon law yet! We have traded our 11 gmc terrain off for more room and this is what we get. Frustrating!!!!!!

Welcome to the Forum.
I'm just trying to understand the terminology. By "off idle" do you mean you feel the vibration when driving and not when idling? There are several threads on vibration issues that can be found using the Forum's 'Search' feature in the upper right corner. Each seems to have a different 'vibration' issue. Does the vibration occur only after a long drive or every day when starting off? I have only had one vibration issue and that was with my 2017. The wheels were out of balance from the factory. The dealer balanced them as well as they could and that reduced the vibration by about 95%. The thing is that at times it is very smooth and at other times there is a very slight vibration but not enough to really bother me. I will have them balance the wheels again before they reinstall them in the Spring when the Winter tires come off. Some members had to have the Hankook tires replaced on their new Explorers.

Hi peter
I mean the off idle is when I'm driving from a stop light or sign. I don't think it's the tires because it drives good all other times I have noticed it when I drove it to the in laws yesterday and was just so frustrating. I'm very mechanically incline but when you talk to other techs they don't understand why. I have two old cars and are very good mechanically over the 20 years I have had the 1 car. I think it's a motor/trans vibration or an torque converter issue. I'll find out tomorrow at the dealership.
