2000 limited 4.0 SOHC
Help; nobody seems to be able to explane my vin nr.
I like to know what the exact year of build my car is.
Is a limited 4.0 SOHC 4x4 VIN 1FMDU73E9YUB83517
If you also can explane the rest of the code, fine.

from the results i found, it says it is a 2000

and welcome to the site.....
 






1 = USA
F = Ford
M = multipurpose vehicle
D = 5001-6000 lbs (GVWR)
U = Bronco II, Explorer, Mountaineer
73 = (should = 4x4 4dr limited)
E = 4.0L 6 cylinder SOHC
9 = n/a
Y = (should be 2000)
U = Louisville, KY
1383517 = serial #
 






lol, hey it came from the Louisville plant. I know the girl that puts in the Drivers Side front windows (she's a major hottie!) If it ever falls out lemme know, i'll yell at her for ya!!! lol
