i dont know where to get them but i made my own out of sheet metal, pvc, and metal insulation tape. it makes a little difference around here in hot ole florida. i got a piece of sheet metal, bent it and cut it to shape, used sheet metal screws and weather stripping. painted it all black. it looks pretty good i think.

thats what i was thinking about doing to mine this weekend. im makeing a ram air for it with 4" dryer duct. i figured since i was already doing that i might as well make the heat shield. do you have any pics of it so that i can figure out how i am going to do it? it would be much apreciated.

sorry no pics right now. but i might as well take soem this weekend. im changing oil and cleanignthe engine compartment. i dont have a digital camera so itll take a few days. ive thought about the ram air as well. were you going to run it up behind the grill or below the bumper?

behind the bumper. right next to the fog light hole.

that's a nice explorer..
