Volume control failure

94 EB with stock radio/cassette unit can't decrease volume, but can increase volume. Everything else works fine. Is it fixable or do I just replace it?

I believe that the problem is in the volume switch and there is probably not an easy fix for it. I'm not sure though. I would look into buying a new radio.
