VST Gabriel Shocks

I have a question. Is it possible the there are different model VST shocks. I called Pep Boys and they have VST shocks for 19.99. I took my 92 X to get the shocks, Bushings and springs replaced and was charged 200.00 for 4 shocks. I purchased the other items thru Explorer express so I didn't get hosed there. I haven't paid yet but the owner said he would check into it. Any info would help.

different shocks

I'd be willing to bet that you were quoted the price for Gabriel pro ryder VST at $19.99 each, but thats not what they put on. you probably would have had to specify that was the shock you wanted though because they do have several other, more expensive shocks. Also they may have had not had them in stock. The problem I had when I purchased mine: the pep boys stores around here do not update their inventory very well, their computer said all 3 local stores had them, only the third actually had any in stock.
