Put them where the stock sub is.

They make ones that are direct fits in the back but cost around $600

Do search for a member named "-strike-". He has one 12 built into the floor in the cargo area. It's all custom but looks very clean

Look in the 3rd gen pics "I know 198 pages!" there is a guy that has a wicked tricked out X that has an encloser that goes on the side where the factory sub goes in his. I would have to have one. I can't remember his screen name. He has custom made fender flares, a custom roof rack and all kinds of nice stuff.
Stu

Hey stu, are you thinking about PWRaddict's explorer in the 4th gen pics thread?

And bsquared, you could do a 10" jl audio stealth box, but they're like $600 (edit: I think this is what triton was referring to)

King kong with two 10's?

Get a 24 inch solo baric :D

But really though get a box with two 12's.

I Have 2 10"s That are very loud , there Critical mass Reference ss102 there single 2 ohm , so when wired to a mono amp its 1 ohm and there made for high excursion and small enclosures ! do some research on small sealed or small ported enclosures and figure what you want for space , but also have a sub back there , i like CM there amazing subs , but are pricey because of there Quality

Sure :D it's also in the Audio forum;

I'm kind of in the same boat with my aviator. I've got two 12"s in my f150 under the back seat that I love. I want something that's totally stealth, but think I'd like to go with some low profile 15"s and use the whole back compartment. I'd like to end up with something that I could still stick stuff on top of.

I did find a nice setup someone had that was actually hinged and covered the whole cargo area, but I can't seem to find the thread now. I figure the amps can go underneath the trim panels on the side where the factory amp(s) and sub are.

I was thinking about using this setup from my dad's studio...

I used to drool over carvin catalogs all the time. Tried to put together one of their custom guitars multiple times, but they always came out around $1500+ by the time I was finished adding everything.

I'm a bass player and I spend a generous amount of time there. He had to lease the rest of the building because the bottom end would rattle shelves in the other rooms...

For those keeping score, that is 8 subs, 1000 continuous watts each =]

I have 2 Carvin basses and my dad has a few guitars. I love them....
