Well, the title says it all. My ST is stock and I want to know where I should start. I have been looking at new exhaust systems, air intakes, and chips.

Also, how do I get rid of the limiter that keeps me at 90?

General consensus I believe is that exhaust, CAI and programmer (not chip) is the best bang for the buck. The limiter can be altered with the programmer.

You REALLY want to go faster than 90 in a Sport Trac?  :(

haha, ya, im 18, get alot of crap thrown at me about ford at school, and have been challenged multiple times already. Just wanna be able to back up my claims

do you know anything about Gipson exhaust? I want some nice pipes on it soon.

what programmer have people used here?

I used to sell and install exhaust systems (as well as a lot of other stuff) at Truck Guys in Weymouth, MA. I was no expert but from what I was told is that Gibson has better performance (and maybe quality) while Flowmaster had a louder sound. So Interscope, when i save up for some add-ons I will most likely go for Gibson with a K&N intake, then shocks and programmer. But i am also open for suggestions from others here.

I do want some new shocks for sure too, what kind does everyone recommend

i have seen a lot of people on here talking about the rancho rs5000's, they seem good and are good price but i dont know if they are the best or not

dont buy hand-held programmer, go with the custom tune..

I have a Gibson exhaust on my '08, it sounds nice and was pretty easy to install. Picked up a little bit of power and 3 mpg on the highway.

JBA makes headers but people who have put them on report very little gain, simply because the stock manifolds flow pretty good already. Also they cost a crapload of money.

A company called Random Technology makes a high-flow Y-pipe that replaces the small pre-cats, the truck will still pass emissions, and gives you more power for less money than headers.

If you need to go faster than 90 mph, buy a Mustang.

haha. im not buying a new vehicle, if you missed one of my earlier posts im still in high school. And we have an 05 stang in the garage with bassanni x's, a k&n, some nitto drag radials, and its tuned :P mom wont lemme drive that yet though. Thats her baby.
