want to build my body lift

ok i need to small body lift on my truck, what is the cheapest and best way to make one? i dont really think a 2" body lift is worth $100

People have spare pucks all day long here. Get 4 of them, cut them into .9" sections. You'll have 12. You need 10. Then just get an inch longer bolts for the body mounts.. and the bumpers probably have enough adjustability to make them look okay with a 1" lift.

I have made my own body lift out of aluminum pucks. It is a 1.000" body lift and the aluminum was 6061. I bought a section of about 3" round aluminum and cut it down on a saw then my lathe. I bought longer bolts for the places that needed them. I made drop brackets for my fan shroud as well out of sheetmetal and 2 small bolts. I spent about $60 total on material plus my time so aftermarket body lifts are not too much out of line price wise.
