Guys, PM if you're going to undercut someone who responded first. Jeez.

i apologize, not meant to undercut, just wanted to save him some money, its been in my garage cabinet forever.

Well I figured out that '99 and newer have different plugs....

Yep. If you want cd only, this could be your only option:

I dont have premium sound or a JBL head unit, I checked for wiring for a changer and dont have that either, all I have that additional is controls in the back of the center console. Im looking for a factory one because I put and aftermarket deck in it (from my BII) and got no sound. Im not a newbie when it comes to installing stereos by any means, and the deck still works just fine in my BII. I figured I must have a factory amp or something having to do with those rear control that messes with aftermarket harness.

I have the factory changer, head unit, and amp out of my 96 Sport, if your interested...I can take some pictures of the back of the head unit, and you will need the harness. let me know

if you have no sound coming from an aftermarket radio, you might need to plug in the amp turn on wire. I had the same problem. I think its a blue wire. All your speaker wires go through the factory amp before going to the actual speakers, so if that is not turned on there will be no sound.

Hope this helps,
Brian

I think I might have tried that. Youre talking about the blue amp wire coming from the aftermarket harness right? Is there any wiring diagrams on here for factory stereos so I can figure our where all these "extra" wires go to?

Thanks but I think I'll pass.
