I need Factory CD player for 96 X

I don't think the stock cd deck will work for your '97. CD deck was introduced in '98, along with new plugs. But I'm not sure.

Nope. The only way to get CD back then was to get a receiver with changer controls and the changer.

hey

I have an extra Pioneer 6-disc CD player. It fits easily in the console or, I have my mounted in the back of my Ex.
I have the remote for it but, I am using the harness on the 6-disc that I have in my car right now so, I new harness is all that would be needed. And it is VERY easy to hook up.
