i've searched but nothing seems to clarify what i need to know. on my 03 explorer 4.0 it starts and runs excellent. problem being if i drive six miles to work and shut it off just long enough to run into the gas station and buy a pop come out and it will just crank and crank and crank till i floor the gas pedal. then it will fire up and run like nothing happened and run perfectly fine. thing is it only happened three times in the last week. its not every time , very intermitant.
