I have been having a problem with my 95 X. At times I have stoped for a couple minutes and when I came out and started my X It wouldn't idle. I would have to restart is and give it throttle to get it to idle. acouple times even giving it throttle doesn't always work, I would have to two foot it keeping the revs up to keep it from stalling. Has anyone had this problem before and what was the Fix???

In a possible related happening, my Wife took the X up pikes peak and acouple times it died while climbing to the top( 14,000 ft) but to start right up.

Please help

Tim

IAC valve is most likely fix.

IAC valve, where is it ????

silver cylindrical device on the drivers side of the throttle body w/one electrical connection to it.

I had a problem with my 92

and it was a sticking fuel pressure regulator. Some have a spring that isn't centered and the seat wears to one side. Under high vacuum conditions where the opens the widest, the valve sticks open to one side. If everything else fails to fix it, try replacing the regulator. Two bolts, $80 and takes about ten minutes. Have found about a dozen people that have had the same problem. There is no practical way to test for this intermitant condition.
