I know some of you have the warn combo winch mounting system , I am looking in to installing the mount on my 92 and need to know how hard it is to put the dang thing on.
Q #1 Do i have to drill and if so how many holes.
Q #2 The warn home page says non-wraparound does this mean that the light guards arent included or they dont wrap around the corner markers.
Q #3 How strong is this mount.
ANY help would be a life saver.:frustrate

Q1: The installation instructions say that you need to drill 2 holes, through the bumper mounting bracket, the frame, and the frame extension. When I drilled my holes...holy crap! The frame is hard to drill, so I used a plasma cutter and blew 1 hole, and ditched the supplied grade3 bolts for 1 grade8. I havent had any trouble with this setup.

Q2: The light gaurds are included, but do not wrap around the corners.
Dead Link Removed

Q3: I have not had any trouble with the strength of the mount personally. I've read elsewhere on the webboard that other people have had trouble with the mount not being strong enough. If you go with this mount, make sure all the bolts are tight, and dont go pulling 20ton dumptrucks out.

Thank you very much

I had thought this was forgotten and would just die,
THANK YOU :D The people at my local 4x4 place told me it did not come with light guards but they are a littel dum when it comes to any thing that does not fit on a chevy:p

The light gaurds come with the mount, its all one kit.
