When installing the WAR153's, what have you guys been torquing the nut on the bolt down to? The sheet that came in the box with the shackles says 25-35 ft/lbs. but when I've used 26-28 ft/lbs. even that seems to squish the sides ever so slightly (I might just be being ****, but I was checking with a straight edge). Lemme know what you guys think.

Where did you purchase them?

I wish I could get them in town................................ Shipping is killer here..

I tightened the piss out of mine with an impact wrench, but they were homemade out of 3/8 steel

Does anyone remember what they torqued theirs to? I just wanna make sure I'm not overdoing it

well when i put mine on i tightened until i couldnt any more i am not sure if thats good or bad but i see now problem with it and have had no problems wiht the shackles so IMO i wouldnt care to much about how much you need to torque them

I torqued mine till they just began to bow a bit slightly, they don't have to be a perfect "H" shape with straight edges but ya

Alright cool, thanks for the feedback guys. I'll just leave it the way it is. Thanks sparky. Yeah thats what I was caught up about, they bowed ever so slightly, (we're talking millimeters)and I thought I made it too tight, but i guess thats normal. Thanks

Mine smooshed in a bit too... Not a big deal, IMO.

FWIW, the spec for the OEM shackle bolts calls for 85 ft*lbs.
