Water leaking in the back of my 02 Explorer

It has been raining here in Wisconsin for a few days. I just looked in the back of my explorer and on the cargo mat was a pretty big puddle. I have seen this once before but only after a heavy rain. I wiped it up with a towel and looked under the cargo mat and the carpet in the back area is soaked. I tried to find this leak by putting a running hose on top of the hatch but I didn't see anything. Have any of you had this problem before? Is there something specific I should be looking for? Thanks for your help

I have not had that problem.....try testing it with a water hose

Any chance the hatch glass was ajar during the rainstorm?

Also, it's possible that one of the rear side windows is leaking. I saw a neat trick posted here recently to look for glass leaks. Gently push some paper towels into the area at the bottom of the glass (on the inside) and then run the hose on the glass. Pull the paper towels out and see if they're wet.
