Weak air flow from the vents

I noticed that when I put the heat or a/c on, I have to crank the fan speed to the 3rd or 4th level before I feel any air coming through the vents. Is this normal on a 10-year old truck? Why is this happening? Blower motor runs strong. Is there something stuck like the inner blend door? How can I fix this?
 






I have the same problem. I just assumed this was normal for this vehicle?? On mine, 1 and 2 does practically nothing...3 is ok.....4 is better but seems to be pretty loud??? Heat doesn't get very hot either?? Unfortunately I'm finding out things that I think is not right......is normal???:(
 






I had the same problem when I bought my Explorer, What I found out is that blend door had broken off and was laying over the blower intake. What I did was drill a hole under blend door housing and propped it up with a wire clothes hanger.
