Hi Guys!
Really love our new/used 2002 Explorer but it has a strange issue. With the A/C engaged the passenger side center vent and passenger side outside dash vents blow cold but the drivers side center and outer vents blow warm this is not a dual zone equipped vehicle but one with a standard 3 dial A/C control (fan, temp and mode dials). Have you heard of this before and what is the remedy?

Thanks in advance
Fred

I have a 2002 xlt with a similair issue but the drivers side is cold and the pass side is a bit warmer. I do have the rear air but i do not think this is a dual zone issue as it happens with the rear zone on or off.

Interested in some insight in this as well.

Thx

E.S.

I had the same problem AND I also had the rear ac clicking noise. When I fixed the rear blend door actuator, (there are two actuators in the back. I changed the one furthest to the rear) the all the front vents started blowing cold again. Coincidence and unrelated? I don't know, but I'm enjoying cold a/c up front now.
