Weird acceleration issues

Im gonna replace the TPS just cause its cheap, i cleaned the MAF as best i could, and i also cleaned the IAC. Heres another question though..i know the car doesnt have an idle screw...but there is a screw on the TB that will stop the throttle plate from closing as much, its a small scew with a 3/8 on the end...does anyone know if this being moved could cause anything?

I had similar problem to this last year. I had carbon build up in the throttle body so the rpm's would be either very low...or extremely high (as i continued giving it gas). I made sure that all the carbon build up was cleaned, and also lubricated the linkage around it. Not sure if this helps you at all...cuz you seem to have inspected all these related parts.

Yea...I cleaned out the IAC and the MAF, just replaced the TPS...checked for leaks all over the place...and i still got nothing. its like the car shifts into high gear and doesnt wanna come out easily without mashing the gas.

Everything I thought it could be that I fixed hasnt helped,
on monday my buddy who is a ford machanic are going to try to get down to the bottom of this because its driving me nuts not knowing what it is,
If I figure it out i'll let you know

Im gonna try putting a new intake on, theres alot of turbulance going through the one i have now, so im gonna see if maybe i can use a different one to keep the air flow more smooth, then clean the TB out again and check all the moving parts. Then unplug the battery for a few hours.

Did you try to replace the Coil Pack with a good one? maybe even upgrade to a Screamin Demon Coil Pack for $99? That way, its still an upgrade if it doesn't fix your problem. Did you get the cruise control recall performed?

New coil pack, but never had the cruise control recall done, anyway i can unplug something to check that before having it done.

Its Free. Might as well do it. It Can kill you if it is not done. I say this, but I have yet to get mine done.
