i bought crossdrilled/slotted rotors off ebay, pretty much the same ones that EE.com offers, i installed them with hawk pads and the stoppping power is 10x better than stock, my problem is that if i give the brake pedal ANY pressure the rear brakes give out a very loud and annoying clicking sound. It almost sounds like baseball cards and i bicycle tire, anyone have any ideas as to what the hell this is from?.......

when i got new pads mine did the same thing....

i worked a shop over the summer and they replaced my rotors and pads cuz it was all rusted over... when it made this clicking... they took the wheel off and drove it on the rack to see wut was clicking....

i never figured it out but they suspected it was rust and they buffed out the inside of the drum to clear it up... the clicking persisted for maybe 2 days and was gone and havent heard it since

i guess just take ur drum off and buff off the rust with something and maybe thats wut its coming from...

hope this was a help

later

I would remove and inspect the rotor and pads to see for any grooving, or any foreign objects .
