Hey Everyone, I am hoping someone can give me some insight into some weird issues I have been having. The other night, we noticed that the sunroof was tilted open, which is odd being that it is the dead of winter here. No biggie, we closed it, and sure enough, the next day, it was open again, but we have not driven the car. So I went to close it again, the buttons were all unresponsive, and I also noticed that all of the buttons below the screen were no longer working. I tested the battery, and it was definitely getting toward the end of its life, so I went ahead and put a new battery in it, hoping that maybe that it was just having some weird quirky electrical issues due do inconstant voltage.
Once the new battery was installed and the BCM reset, I went in to close the sunroof and when I hit the switch, the sunroof closed, but then, slid all of the way open, and stayed that way, and is totally stuck wide open now.I tried the sunroof reset procedure, but that did not do anything. The center below the screen buttons are still not working, and for some reason the backup camera is also not working. It seems weird that the only thing that these things have in common is that they all happened at the same time?
Has anyone experienced anything similar? It is all really bizarre.
Thanks so much!
