weird engine cleaning experience

Cleaned my engine today with MACS engine cleaner degreaser. Afterwards I started the engine to let it dry, after it ran for a minute I noticed I still had my defroster on, when I turned it down, I noticed that ALL of my fan switch positions now work?? (Previously the only one on my switch that worked was off and high) Anyone have any clues? The only thing I have done so far is cleaned the MAF, painted the underbody, new plugs, and had my 2" lift installed. WEIRD...

I think the fan only working on high has something to do with some kind of resistor that controls fan speed

2" lift? body or suspension.. jw bc im planning on lifting mine a mere 2-3 inches also. maybe a wiring problem on your fan switch, or like halfton said, could have been a reistor problem that was 'cured' by fiddling around with the truck, you know, kinda like hitting the side of a computer monitor when it stops working and it comes back on.
