Thought I'd register my rig. Bought her in 2008 65k miles on the clock for $18 grand, always been happy with her until I caught the modding bug (you *******s, yeah you know who you's are). So now I'm extremely happy and love my x and decided to post some pics in here.

This is when I first got her.

Well those certainly aren't very aerodynamic... :D

I like them!!

Seeing as my X is the epitomy of aerodynamicness I may have to put them in a kit bag to maintain my fuel economy :D

Can't be any worse than this:

RoadRunnervan_resized.jpg

I'd SO drive that thing.

Wow wee. Is that a challenger with a growth?

Jeez, 28 oz Angus steak's? That would almost be worth the container hire and shipping charge, especially if you were cooking them mate!!!!:D:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

On a skid plate note, me mate just picked up Uma to finish welding up the skid plate and fit it. Post some pic's of what he's done later.
Really weird watching Uma drive away. The first time in nearly 3 year's someone else has been behind the wheel, look after her Wolfy

The bright side, well I'll have a skid plate this arvo and I've never heard the exhaust from outide the X as she drives and she sounded f*****' awesome!!

Me mate left his Ford falcon ute here while he work's on Uma so I thought I'd post some spec's and pic's of it for you guy's to have a squiz at.

2007 Ford Falcon RTV ute
4.0 lt inline six
factory electronic rear diff locker
2200 lbs (factory) load carrying capacity
OEM raised suspension.

I will paypal you $100 USD if you send over a pic of that ute, airborne off even a small dirt ramp. I want light under all 4, and the plate visible.

Cash.

We promise not to show him. :shifty_ey

You know- something like this- but you'll have to find another car to put under it:

That falcon is something else.....I reckon the Explorer is more of a truck than that thing ever will be :D

Damn, that was furken awesome!!! But he didn't leave the keys and I'm not a hotwire sort of a bloke. On a freak out note, he rang up saying he stripped one of the two bolts on the back of the cross member. Grade 10 structural one that opened up the spanner he was using to hold the nut when he hit the head with the rattle gun. He did manage to scab a structural rated bolt from one of his mechanic mate's so crisis averted. Sorry if this doesn't make sense all I know is the location of the bolt!

She's just a ute mate, not a truck :D:thumbsup: Does come with a 330kw engine version tho'.

Skid plate is on. The front is reinforced 6mm bar that bolts to the bumper mount, the plate itself is 2mm and it picks up the bolt's on the rear of the cross member for the rear mounts (the thread visible is the replaced 10.9 structural bolt that broke). I may add some ventilation holes if the power steering cooler needs them, let me know if you would, if you reckon I should do that. So all done.
