So, there is a thread over in the stock forum about odometers counting miles too fast(http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/showthread.php?t=343266). Anyway, since I own a Nuvi portable GPS, I decided I would test the speedometer accuracy.
On my way home last night, about 5 minutes into my drive, I remembered that I would do that, so I reached into the glove box and grabbed the Nuvi and the mount, and turned it on. A little bit after that, I noticed that the MFT was completely locked up. No buttons were working, the screen was unresponsive, and voice command didn't turn on.
After about 10 minutes of searching for the satellites, the Nuvi finally found my location(it had been off and in the glove box for a few months). At the exact moment when the Nuvi found it's location, all functionality of the MFT/Sync started to work at once. It even remembered all the buttons I had pressed, including turning on the heated seat, and skipping a few tracks on my ipod, even though the system didn't acknowledge that I did these activities at the time.
Not really sure what to think of this.
