Hi, I am new to the board. I finally sold my 99 Civic Si and bought my first X. It's a 91 2 door Sport with a superlift 5.5 lift, auburn rear limited slip and detroit locker up front with 4.73 gears, warn 6,000 pound winch. It also has a Flowmaster exhaust and drilled air box with K&N drop in. Rollin on 33 Mudders 12.5. I will try to get some pix up soon but I have already had it on the trail twice this week and it is pretty unstoppable so far.

That is one nice set up. It is going to take me forever to get all of the mods you have.

wow...welcome to the board.... sounds like a great truck... is that 3.73 gears or the previously stated 4.73? i dont think a 4.73 was made... or is it a different axle with a different ratio?

Well I am pretty sure they are 4.73's my dad did put em in. That "rice burner" ran a 15.2 @ the track, and I have the slip but I had to get rid of it due to my bad driving habits and a reckless driving. Anyway thanx for the welcome, I feel at home already and I don't miss my car at all, yet

Once you get into an X you'll never what you old car again. That is what I think anyway.

Yeah, like I said I don't miss it. But, my car was clean and I am not a fan of ricey altezzas and whatnot just performance with oem look or close to it.

and IMO the ex looks better than any car....esp when they are pimped out.

Nice lookin Civic. I appriciate just about any project car shown the right amount of love. Sweet background in the second shot. I kinda know how you feel , I had to get rid of my 84 S-10 Blazer ( which is how I got into my Ex ) but I put a lot of time and effort into that thing. Cowl induction hood ( steel ) all new interor , billet grille , high gloss black paint with blue pearl minxed in with the clear. It was pretty sweet. But oh the joys of reliable transportation.

Thax for the replies,and I was wrong they are 4.56 gears and not 4.73. oops.
