Bought and installed a new VB for the 5R55E. No gears....great. Found the issue: I bent the tab on the manual valve lever. No problem, right? I tried to straighten it...snap. Well this job went to hell in a handbasket. I drill out the broken tab and thread in a grade 8 bolt. I thought "I got this!"...the parking pawl rod has come out. How do I get this thing back in? I have tried for hours to get it back in and compressed so I can put the lever back on. Help!! Any tricks to get this rod back in?
