I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on were i could fit 2 400Watt amp's they are about a foot and a half each , i want to put them somewere were they will be out of the way and still have good ventilation so they dont over heat.. thanks alot any ideas will help,

What you are trying to do sounds very familiar. I have a sony xplod 754 (75 x 4 channel) - 350 watt amp and a 400 watt amp for my sub. I put them in a storage compartment that covers the entire rear of my truck. I found matching carpter and from the outside or even with the hatch open it looks like a storage box, and not an amp box. Check out http://mark.legendz.com/explorer/stereo1.html for pictures on what I did. I have never had an amp shut off on my due to therma shutdown and that is even after running them in the Sourthern Arizona sun with the Windows down and no AC (yes people in Az can stand the heat without the AC).

I put mine inbetween the back seat and the spring loaded flap thingys. You can not tell at all they're in there. I've got an XTR running at 400 watts and it never over heated. I just moved it under the seat because of convenience. I ski all the time and I didn't want the amp getting wet with the seat down because I put my skis and equip. in the back. You might also want to try inside the plastic panels in the back. I'm not sure this would work because I've never had them fully off.
