westin safari bar question

alright i just have a simple question here, why dont these bars fit 95's???i coulda sworn that 95-97s were basically the same, well im obviously wrong, however still can these be mounted to a 95 and how? thanx

I have the Westin Safari bar mounted on my 96 and I don't see any reason why it couldn't be put on a 95. The brackets mount right into the frame which I assume is identical... Can anyone back me up on this one?

The Safari Bar will work on the '95, but requires some extra work. This thread here discusses this matter.

I have a safari bar on my 1995, it isn't that much trouble. If you need it, I can post pictures of what it looks like after being installed.

Hey guys, im interested in getting a safari bar for my 95 explorer, can someone post pics of the holes that need to be drilled? are they at the bottom of the frame or do you need to drill horizontally? thanks
