What all should I have gotten?

Hi all!

Last week, we picked up a new 2017 White XLT in White Platinum Tri-coat a local dealer. Only options above the 200A package are the paint, and the 2.3 eco. I have a 2015 F150 with the 2.7 and love it.

This car was a previous dealer courtesy car with about 2,200 miles on it, and that helped the incredible deal that we got.

Anyway... I have to stop back at the dealer because they only gave us one key fob for the car, and looking over it better after we picked it up, I wanted to make sure that they didn't short us anything else.

Do they usually not come without third row mats? Also, is there anything other than that thin carpeted board that covers the spare tire? With the third row seats up, it looks like there should be a little shelf or something that sits level with the liftgate sill?

No 3rd row mats and yes, just the board that covers the spare tire.

I see that blwnsmoke has answered your questions. I would definitely ask the dealer for a 2nd set of keys. All Explorers come with 2 sets. My 2017 Platinum was picked up from another Ford dealer and when I went to pick it up from my dealer the salesman said that it only came with a single key fob so he had another one made up and sent the bill to the original dealership. I believe you should also have a cargo net. Both of my previous vehicles had one but again my Platinum did not even though the Owner's Manual references it.

there is a shelf that supports the back of the spare tire cover on the older models, it would show a picture of it in the manual under spare tire etc. I forget but I think there also should be a funnel there for filling the capless fuel tank

Good call on the funnel. For some reason I am thinking it is in the tire inflation kit that is under the driver's seat.

That kit was discontinued several years ago.

the kit was held on by hook and loop material under the driver seat with the tow packages, it was a tire inflator. I forget if it came with a sealant container or not, but if it did, never use the sealant since you will almost always need to replace the gummed up tire pressure sensor after. I'd rather just have one of those DIY quick tire repair kits in the vehicle, rather than use the sealant, they cost about 10$ and you basically just shove a shoe string into the hole with glue in it. They actually work for temporary repairs, plug repair.

My 17 XLT did not include a cargo net. And it's not listed on the window sticker either. But, I kept the cat go net from my 15 used Explorer Limited, which by the way, I never used there either.
