what are some easy mods?

What are some cheap and easy to perform modifications to perform on my 93 ford explorer xlt? It has the 6 cylinder engine that is bone stock.

Here are some ideas:

$0.00 - Drill some holes in the air box
$40-50 - K&N replacement air filter (or see below)
$90 - KKM air induction filter
$150-300 - New cat-back exhaust system

Here some other things to look at:

$54 - New plug wires.(Splitfire Duel Core)
$6-7ea - Bosch Platinum+4 plugs

For handling:

$36-70ea - New shocks ($36 Rancho RS5000)
$40-55 - Steering stabilizer ($55 Rancho)

All these are do it yourself mods along with drilling holes in the airbox and K&N dropin filter.
