Hi. Taking out the metal plate to install a center console and I found 3 connectors and a module. Any ideas what these 3 connectors are? And what is this module used for??

If you do a Google search on that module number most results say its a F-150 Extender Power Control Module. I was only able to find it on the Ford parts site. No Idea what the connectors are for. HU5T-14G490-AF - Google Search

I did the same search, was hoping there was more info besides a description.

Those connectors are part of the PIU signal and power/ground wires Ford gives for upfitting. They are in the Upfit manuals if you want a breakdown of each wire.

I forgot what the module is for though

That might make sense then that the module is referred to as the Extender Power Control Module.

Since I'm not using any of the signal and power/grounds do I 𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗬 need to put it back in?

google the upfit manual. they are free PDF on the internets

Like others said the two connectors are used for upfitting. The upfitters guide has the pinouts for the wires. I used them to wire up a civilian console for lighting and power ports. The module is used for the Airbag system. It provides power in the event of a crash and the battery were shorted/disconnected it could still fire the airbags. Leave it.
