what bulb for Cruise lite?, and where's the ashtray lamp?

Does anyone know what bulb for the cruise buttons? and are they available at an autozone or something? or is it a dealer only part. ('99 XLT)

On a side note...

I notice in my manual, it lists a bulb for the "ashtray lamp" but I dont have an ashtray... (I've seen the cupholder one you can get, but I dont have that either). Where might the "ashtray lamp" be?

If you do a search for cruise control bulb you should find the bulb #. Its a dealer item. Some have used led bulbs. I changed one three or so yrs ago and its difficult getting it all back together right.
If you dont have an ash tray you dont have a light. That must be left over from the older models.

When this particular bulb (cruise switch) went on my wife's 98 Sport I ended up buying the whole setup of cruise switches... dealer said they don't sell these bulbs... I might still have another one of these...

You can get just the bulb from most dealers if they are willing to look for it. I bought mine from www.fordpartsnetwork.com though.

I must be a moron when it comes to using FordPartsNetwork, but I never can find a darn thing on their site. I tried searching for the cruise control bulb by part number and description and came up empty. Can some one give me a hint on where to look?

You probably own't find the bulbs by their part numbers at FPN now (I know I couldn't). You will have to send Torrie an e-mail and ask him for pricing and availability.
