Hi, I am looking into putting on some 35's and I would like to know the best way of doing that. I already have a 3" body lift, but I would like to know what suspension lift is best, what it comes with, and other tidbits I need to know, or get. I was trying to look at the Skyjacker system, but could not find one for the Explorer.

Thanks for any help you can give!

The skyjacker class II 6" lift would be best but it's pretty expensive. The superlift 5.5" kit would be less but it's more prone to breaking. Depends on the kind of wheeling you do I guess.

the new superlift brackets are alot better.... now skyjacker discontinued their lift for explorers.... im sure you would be fine with super lift heres pics of mine on 35 with the 5.5 and 3" body lift.Dead Link Removed Dead Link Removed

Thanks for your imput. I was hearing that a 4" lift would be fine for 35" tires. Does anyone think that would be Ok, or should I go with the 5.5" Superlift. If I go with the 4" lift, which maker would be best?

Thanks!!

you can do a 4" youll have to do some trimming of you fenders... or get fiber.... ( fenderguy has this ) it looks real good. but if i were you and go with the super lift i would just go 5.5 because the 4" and the 5.5" brackets are all the same.... just the springs are differant.
