Here are my plans for my car for the next couple years. I probably won't be able to start till next summer though. I am planning to do a front and rear axle swap from a '76 or '77 Ford Bronco with control arms. Then get a 5.5" Superlift, RockCrawlers wheels, and 35/12.5 BFG Mud Terrain tires.

Do you think I need any other major additions to my list (steering stabilizers, etc...)?

I will keep everyone posted on my progress.

well if you are doing a solid axle up front then superlift would be useless... all you'd need is the spring over brackets for the rear...

Really? Will the swap already raise the front? Why wouldn't I need the lift?

Cool, I might be able to get it sooner than I thought.

If you do a solid swap based on the EB the coil springs will determine the amount of lift. Once the proper coil is fitted to get the lift you desire (keeping in mind the weight of the front end compressing the spring) then you have to adjust the mounting points (C bushing, radius arm bracket) to get the drive angles correct. Achieving proper angles will be the hardest thing to do, if they aren't correct you will end up with a wandering, vibrating, tire eating beast that will scare the crap out of you on the street. Not to mention some funny looking curved springs if the mounting points are the same. Do a search for the solid swap on this site, it has tons of info with all the little things you have to remember when doing this swap. Good luck!

So I just need the SOA conversion to raise the rear, right? Where can I pick up just that? I only know that the whole Superlift kit comes with it, but I don't know about seperately. Would I still be able to put on Rancho 9000 shocks? for the front and rear? I am still trying to find all of the info. I read a lot of good threads.

Thanks!!
