What do you think: electric turbo, 2 - 3 lbs of boost?

So I was browsing ebay and found and electric turbo:

Claiming to produce 2 - 3 lbs of boost. What do you guys think? Garbage or what?

Seems cheap enough and a quick install that I would be willing to try it just to see.

do some research into how fast turbos spin. then find an electric motor that spins that fast. no Fing way it's 70 bucks....

it's a POC. Don't fall for it, there is NO WAY that thing is building 2 to 3 PSI, not even at idle!! and it will probably draw more power to run the motor than it will make.

Looks like they took a standard squirrel cage fan and painted it black. Squirrel cages move lots of air, but make little to no PSI not like a real turbo would.

As EP said look into how fast turbos and blowers spin....

Good point! Actually I didn't notice that pic at first, where you see the side view and the fins... it's totally just a squirrel cage.

So much info on this site. I think I'm going to do the brown wire mod for kicks and also have been reading up on the aussie locker for the back end seem like an inexpensive way to boost performance.

15000 watts where do you get the 1,250 amps of current to drive that thing? that is just insaine in so many ways.
