haha

I like the look of it...it's nice.

Reminds me of the el camino(not sure if its that one, the half pickup/half car thing from chevy/gmc...see how much i know about cars :D )

Its the 2004 version of the El Camino. Its ugly then, its ugly now.

not El Camino.....that was a chevy.... this is an updated Ranchero. i never liked the Ranchero then, and i dont like this new one.

is it going to see production? I personally don't like it.Never liked the originals.

I liked some of the torino based rancheros they were pretty nice. but i dunno about that thing, it looks like they're trying to compete with the new Chevy SSR.

I grew up in a house with a '79 'Chero GT (400m), HELLUVA Car/Boat!!!:D The 400, although a mild big engine, could lay rubber forever when there is no weight at all in the back. When there was snow/ice on the roads, we had to load it up with cinderblocks in the back just to be able to drive it. :;

I think the car/pu combos are going to catch on here in the future. The anti-SUV movement will (already is) create a demand for smaller, wagon type SUVs and smaller, more economical alternatives to PUs. I think car/pu hybrids can fill this need. The public is starting to like them because they use less gas, automakers love them because they can build them on the same lines as their cars. There might just be a future for these type of rides.

Then again, in general, America has always been about "bigger is better", so who knows..............

I dug some of the older ones, but this thing is ugly as hell. I just can't see it.

I never really checked out the rancheros. That blue one is very sharp though. I'd drive one. The newer green one with the cap, on the other hand, would require an incognito hat and some sunglasses. I don't think the new one is horrible. I think it's slightly too round. I bet they sell.

i never really liked the ranchero, but my friend once had a 69 el camino ss. that was a nice ride.

Since it is not technically an Explorer...I moved it here...

Guys (and girls), that's a production vehicle from Ford called the Falcon for the Australian market. If you look closely, you can see the plate on the front is Australian (Victoria I think). Holden (GM) has one too. They're referred to as "utes" and are very popular. I saw a lot of them when I was down there.
