Honestly, I looked at the picture quickly and didnt even notice you had ms-painted the rear pillars, I was trying to immagine the front pillars painted white.
I say it looks good, so go for it! maybe sand down and paint your mirrors while your at it.
I might be and probably will be the only person that thinks this but I think it will almost look like there is truck bed cap on if you paint the pillar to match your X.
I like the idea....it looks good. I painted my rear pillars as well as the spots between the front and rear doors. To me iit just gives it that finishd look that Ford forgot lol.
My opinion: I don't like it. I like the D pillar painted balck and if mine ever faded I would go back to black. I would either get them painted or but new ones.
Repainting them is is good idea. Painting them the same color as your Ex would be a nice touch. I recommend using Krylon Fusion, as it it designed for plastic. I did my rear pillars and they came out great. Click here for the write-up.
