what else causes cold start problem - throws enigne light.

i've had the 00m12 done (again), and i still have a rought idle on cold morrnings. The oom12 helped a lot, well at least with general idle characteristics and the engine sounds a little smoother, but i still have a bad idle when it's cold and my CEL is one...any ideas.

I'll take it to ford, but they take so damn long...

Oh, i also have the front axel speed sensor not working, but ti's been like that for some time, about...almost a month, and the engine light never came on...

(on another note, i'm sort of getting tired of having to go to ford for a diagnostic, is there a code reader adn progamer available? Something that i can read codeas and also do what the apn chip does?)

I was thining the IAC or something like that? The cold idle thing, is actully just as bad as it was before, so i don't htink that 00m12 helped in my case (well it did with general idle qualities, etc.)

Try cleaning the mass airflow sensor, the TPS, the IAC. If nothing works maybe check the o2 sensors.
