I just bought an Alpine MRD 301 D amp to go with my Alpine SWR-1022D Sub. I called Alpine and they said that this would be the best combo. The Amp is 350Watts RMS and 700 watts max. What would be the best gauge wiring kit that I should get. I already have 0 Gauge run from a previous system but I would think this would be over kill for that amp seeing this was for a 1300 watt amp. Lemme know what you think.

Thanks

Help please, I'm pretty sure a 0 gauge set up would be too much power for a 350 watt RMS and 700 Watt peak amp. What would be the best.

8 gauge would be good for it I beleive. If this is for 1 amp just see what the input takes. If the input is 8 gauge, run 8. If its 4, run 4.

10g would be fine for that amp. Since you already have 1/0g just use that. Add a distribution block on the end and run 10g from there.

Just keep the 0 guage in there, what a p.i.t.a. it would be to rip all that out and replace with 8 or 10g. Just get a nice distribution block and go 8 or 10g to the amp as was said.
