I have a 97 four-door XLT and I just need to know a few quick things.
First of all, I hate my chrome grille shell. The "chrome" is coming off, and I would like to replace it. I know the later models have grille shells that are painted the same color as the truck. I just want to know where I can get one of these. I have already checked the local junk yards, and they don't have much. So any suggestions on where I can find a green grille shell? Also, I would rather have it painted because I don't have the paint and fresh paint may not match my explorer.
Secondly, I also know that the later explorers have bumpers which are painted to match the rest of the body as well. Will a 98 bumper fit on a 97? I like the shaping and the contours of the 98 bumper more than my bumper. If it can fit, where can I find a front and a rear bumper?
