What is the best programer for the 1997 Ford Explorer

I think they are called programers but i am not sure. I have seen the edge evolution programer but they didnt have one for the Explorers. Which ones do you use? I have a 1997 Ford Explorer V8 5.0L 2wd. I like all the features the edge evolution has but i dont like the price. Can someone post a link to a good one? Thanks

I personally use the Xcal 3; but I would recommend the Xcal 2 for most because I am not sure all of the bugs have been worked out of the X3 yet.
