I have a 5.5" suspension and a 3" body on my '92 explosive. I have stock axles so I'm assuming that if I run anything bigger than a 33"x12.50" tire I will strain it, and it will suffer a severe loss of power unless I change it if you have any suggestions on the easiest and most cost efficient way for me convert my axles or any other drivetrain mod I can make to my '92 explosive device that will allow me to run a 35"tire + please post.

:) thank you :)

You could swap axles or differentials if you can find them. Check this site or ebay or the ranger station. But you never know what you'll get. You are most likely better off biting the bullet and changing the gears. Shop around you may be able to find a cheaper shop. For parts you are looking at about $250 and about $250 labor for each axle.

Not certain, but I believe the lowest gear ratio Ford offered stock was 4.11. In your case, you might be wanting something even lower. If 4.11 is acceptable, then you should be able to eventually find full axle replacements. If you want something lower, I think you'll have a real hard time finding an axle with the gears already installed. At that point you'll be better off buying the gears and installing them in your existing axles, as mentioned.
Unless, of course, you want something other than a Ford 8.8 in the rear and a Dana35 TTB in the front...

You didn't mention what engine you have but you could definitely help matters by pumping up the horsepower if you haven't already.

If I'm not mistaking the only engine that was availible from '90-'94 for the Explorer was the 4.0L V6, correct me if I'm wrong. :D

'91-'94 And yes 4.0 V6. What gear ratio do you have now?

I'm pretty sure I do not have the tow package so I'm assuming my ratio is 3:73 does that sound right, how many different types are there? What is the ratio on an X with the tow package? If I find an X in the junk yard with the tow package can I swap 'em? Swap the axles that is.

They came with 4 or 5 different ratios. You will want 4.56 or 4.88 for 35's.
