thats the fuel pressure regulator...I notice that you have a 91...they changed that connection sometime between 91 and 94 cause my 94 has a braided line with screw on connection...see if you can get it upgraded if it is indeed leaking.
ill talk to my mechanic tommorrow to see if it can be upgraded. the bottom part of the connection turns, but doesnt do anything, i can turn it 100 times either way and it doesnt get any tighter or looser. it is leaking only when the engine is running, and it leaks alot. im having it towed in to the shop tommorrow mornin. thanx for the help guys
that was made in late 91 and it has the thread on connector for the return line on top. Even knowing what it is, it looks so different. I had to replace my FPR a few years back. It started stalling at stop lights just after I put a new fuel pump in. Cut it open and found a bevel worn on one side of the seat. Some springs are slightly off center and will cause uneven wear. With the higher flow of the new pump, it would sometimes stick to the side. These can be wear items and I'd replace it too. Symptoms are often too weird to figure out. took me a long time to find it.
